Well, Kristina Rei, 22, spent S$8000+ (£4,000) on lip injections in the hopes of resembling her favourite film heroine, Jessica Rabbit.
Even though the surgery is favourable to Kristina's eyes, it may not look appealing to us.
Kristina said, “I think I look fantastic and it makes me happy. Sometimes strangers shout names at me in the street “like big lips” but I don't care. I want to go more extreme. I want to look like a cartoon character.”she added, “I am addicted to it - I love it.”
This can turn out to be a danger of plastic surgery as one can be addicted to it. Kristina claims that she hasn't suffered any after-effects from her first injection when she's 17. She has no plans of stopping this addiction.
Body dysmorphia is one of the dangers one can face due to the addiction towards plastic surgery.
Bleeding, scarring and nerve damages are a few dangers of plastic surgery. All these dangers can affect your health in one way or another.
Personally, BeautyFairQueen thinks that you should have more confidence in yourself, be mind conscious when making a life time decision because you might regret it after all. Accept yourself for who you are, because you born this way! (:
We do not encourage you to go plastic surgery because we feel that there is a danger in any kind of surgery. There are other ways to improve on your looks such as make up, contact lenses and keeping up on your facial regime.
You love yourself as this confidence that you have will be priceless. You may be more fortunate then other people out there so be responsible for your actions. You do not want to look back and feel regretful for what you have done to yourself.
