Have you ever wondered how celebrities always look great all the time? Ever thought they might have a secret formula?
Well, celebrities such as Gisele Bundchen claims that she does not put sunscreen on her skin because she thinks it is poison as it contains synthetic materials. Australia model, Miranda Kerr wrote on her website that she takes four tablespoon of coconut oil daily in her salads, tea and in any meals. She believes that it keeps her hydrated. The famous sister of the duchess of Cambridge, Pippa Middleton rinses her hair in cold water believing that it closes up pores.
All these "secret formula" by celebrities are proven to be nonsense by the scientists from Sense About Science. This organisation is devoted to proving claims and providing evidence to an average citizen around the world.
Scientists and doctors have proven some beauty advice wrong from celebrities such as Gisele Bundchen's claim about sunscreen, Miranda Kerr's coconut oil theory and Pippa Middleton's hair formula.
Gisele's "poison in sunscreen" claim is broken by pharmaceutical scientist Gary Moss. He said that in our everyday life, there is a wide variety of synthetic materials. Hence, synthetic does not mean a bad thing. Natural materials does not also mean safe or beneficial.
As for Pippa Middleton's hair formula, beauty and grooming senior scientist Dr. Frauke Neuser states that hair does not have pores, hence rinsing it with hot or cold water does not make a difference.
The moral of the story? Don't take advice from people who is experts of modeling, acting and posing in front of the cameras. Take beauty advice from people who are experts at health and beauty. They are more reliable and trustworthy comparing to people who do not know what they are talking about.

Beauty Tips #1: 3 Free and Easy Tips To Looking Good
Hello there!
Today BeautyFairQueen will be sharing with you three simple tips on how to look good without spending a ton of money!

Today BeautyFairQueen will be sharing with you three simple tips on how to look good without spending a ton of money!
Tip #1: Exercise

Reserve at least 2 hours a week to work out! You can either jog, brisk walk or even go for swim at the nearby swimming complex at your neighbourhood. Exercising can help to keep your skin healthy by increasing the blood flow. Blood contains oxygen and nutrients and it flows throughtout the entire body even the skin!
Not only must you follow your facial regime closely, it is also important to exfoliate and mosturize your skin. This can help to remove oil, dirt and dead skin. It will definitely help to keep your skin looking vibrant and healthy since exfoliating also helps prevent the break out of pimples.
Tip #3: Sleep

Adequate sleep is necessary and it plays a major role in the outlook of your skin. If you do not have enough sleep, your skin will show by appearing dull, having puffy eyes and it will accelerate your chances of having wrinkles and lines at a young age. You should at least have 7 to 8 hours of sleep daily so as to prevent a weak immune system, stress and exhaustion.

Nails #2: - Shatter Nail Polish tutorial
Hi there my lovely beauties!
Let's begin on the tutorial!

Base coat, blue nail polish, black shatter, top coat, [nail clipper & nail filer (its up to you)]

I had the bluey feel so I applied blue! (Hahaha)
You have to be quick in applying because the black shatter dries extremely fast!
Remember to close it tightly!
It is very important to apply the top coat because it protects your manicure.
The top coat also prevents your nail polish from chipping.
Hehehe isn't it pretty? :)
That's all folks!
It is the time for my nails tutorial tips again! (Yay kekeke)
I have been pondering for a week about what manicure should I do.
& I got my idea when I was at the Scape flea on last Saturday!
The price is pretty reasonable and it is definitely cheaper than those in store.
I bought it for only $10! (Hehehe)
Those that you find in Metro or any other store is about $20 plus.
